pH and conductivity measurement in vaccine production
The novel coronavirus poses great challenges to society as a whole. Vaccines, in part based on new technologies, are a key weapon in the fight to contain the pandemic, but the production technology used to manufacture them needs to meet extremely high standards.
In pharmaceutical contract manufacturing, contract manufacturers take over the production of pharmaceuticals, thereby significantly increasing production capacity. And more importantly, both Memosens sensors and sensors with ISM protocol can be used as the digital sensors. This gives the customer great flexibility when it comes to integrating the various sensors.
Even under harsh ambient conditions, the Stratos Pro transmitters can be used to determine measured values for pH, conductivity, and other process-related parameters in applications in the pharmaceutical industry, as their housings feature excellent IP67/NEMA 4X protection. The pharmaceutical manufacturer in Switzerland also uses transmitters for hazardous areas. Here, the Stratos Pro product line includes devices that are suitable for use in Ex zone 1 and have relevant ATEX approval.
