Modules for Protos Multi-Parameter Transmitter

The modular concept of the Protos multi-parameter transmitter offers maximum flexibility by allowing the integration of three different, freely combinable measurement and communication modules. These modules can be easily plugged into slots in any order, allowing easy retrofitting and conversion to meet specific measurement point requirements.

A wide range of different measuring, controlling and communication modules with various functions are available:

  • Multi: Multi-parameter measuring module for Memosens sensors, 1-, 2-, or 4-channels as required. For all parameters; expandable for new sensors.
  • pH and ORP Measurement:Modules for use with analog or digital sensors as required: for simultaneous measurement of pH, ORP and temperature. Available in glass, ISFET and double high resistance differential (pNa) versions..
  • Conductivity Measurement: Modules for conductivity measurement with 2- or 4-electrode or toroidal sensors to simultaneously measure electrical conductivity, resistivity, concentration, salinity, and temperature.
  • Oxygen Measurement: Modules for oxygen measurement based on amperometric and optical principles. Designed for both analog and digital sensors. Simultaneous measurement of oxygen partial pressure, saturation and concentration. For standard and trace applications in aqueous and gaseous media.
  • Communication Modules: Ethernet and Fieldbus modules for digital communication and seamless integration into automation systems.
  • Output Modules: Expand standard outputs with passive 4-20 mA and relay outputs.
  • PID Controller Modules: For driving control valves, straight-way valves, or metering pumps, with additional free limit contacts for secondary control processes.

This modular approach provides versatility, allowing users to customize the system to meet their specific needs and easily adapt to changing requirements over time.
