At InnoTrans 2022 Knick presented 3 products as world firsts for rolling stock and DC traction power supply applications.
Electrical measurement and process analytics for hydrogen production Hydrogen is currently in the spotlight as an energy and storage medium. Knick products optimize hydrogen production in the process and in electrolyser operation. How this works was presented by two of our experts at the virtual H2 Forum 2021 at the end of April. Green hydrogen…
The requirements placed on railway vehicles have increased significantly in recent years. Products for rolling stock need to ensure a higher level of functional safety than ever before to make the travel experience more comfortable, safer and reliable for the end user – the railway customers. New technologies must be developed to meet future application requirements as well. Based on these points, Knick decided to fundamentally redesign one of its core product groups.
The P27000 is a high-voltage isolated signal conditioner that offers the ability to take non-standard output signals produced by devices such as shunt resistors, batteries, and current transducers and converts them to the more standard units and ranges typically seen by control systems.
There are numerous features that make the P50000 series of high-voltage and current transducers a great choice for deployment within critical rail systems. What are they?
Voltages have long been monitored as a key component of automation and control. But today, with the continued emergence of IIoT concepts, there is also increased awareness of the value of the data as it relates to both predictive maintenance and power consumption optimization.
