For five days from August 22 to 26, the international process industry met at ACHEMA in Frankfurt. Knick appeared with a new exhibition concept and design – and the new concept was a complete success.
At the center of the 300 sqm booth this time were seven industry islands for the core industries of chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals/biotech, energy, oil & gas, semiconductors and mining. Complete solutions from the Knick portfolio were presented for each industry based on typical applications. In this way, interested parties were able to obtain comprehensive information specifically on their application. In keeping with this approach, the entire booth was open and inviting.
Each industry island was a mix of products, display boards and interactive presentations for a comprehensive look at the application on display. The new approach takes the customer’s task as a starting point and focuses on perfectly matched, individual solutions for each target industry.
The focus of the exhibition was on the successful fully automatic sensor maintenance system. The proven modular system was presented under the new product name cCare on the occasion of the ACHEMA, which was also duly celebrated with Knick’s stand party premiere on the second day of the trade fair. The stand party was also part of the new trade fair concept, and with more than 70 guests attending, it was a complete success as an informal conclusion to an extremely lively day at the fair.
Although ACHEMA was also affected by the general trend of declining exhibitor and visitor numbers (approx. 40% fewer exhibitors and around half as many visitors as at the previous show in 2018), we can look back on a large number of high-quality discussions that now need to be followed up, and we are already looking forward to the next ACHEMA in June 2024.
